Elli (1905-1980) devoted her whole life to her husband and children and to her

own spiritual development. During the last thirty years of her life, she collected

the messages she would like to leave to the world in a series of small books, which                                 were published privately: five of them in Greek and one in English..

She distributed most of these "books" to special persons, whom she considered as

appropriate to share her ideas with.

She received positive and enthusiastic comments by several eminent persons in the fields of literature and philosophy of her time, and some of these people even referred to her by giving her the title of "sociologist", without her ever having gotten such a university degree. She got her "degrees cum laude" from the Big School of Life.

To honor her memory, these pages will present selected parts out of these publications.

It is an honor and pleasure for me to translate in English a great part of the Greek content of my mother's messages here. The only non-translatable aspect of them is their special poetic language, which I leave the reader to imagine as best as he/she can. In the translation, I have tried to respect Elli's punctuation, which, in the original text, adds to the poetic effect.
